Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency has an opening for a Hub Supervisor. The Hub Supervisor will assist the Putnam County HUB Manager in overseeing all Putnam County UCHRA Public Transportation activities, including the direct supervision of transit operators and internal staff.
Duties include:
- Assists with administrative duties associated with the program budget to maximize overall efficiency
- Collaborates daily with Regional Dispatchers to enhance efficiency across the Upper Cumberland region
- Assists in maintaining a properly staffed and trained HUB
- Answers passenger inquiries regarding transportation services, routes, schedules, and stop locations
- Responds to and resolves all investigations, complaints, accidents, and incidents
- Assists in managing operator deployment schedules to minimize unscheduled overtime
- Monitors on-time service performance and maintains logs, reports, and records to prepare daily or special reports as requested
Qualifications:
- Leadership & Operations: Experience in public transit, scheduling, or dispatching; familiarity with agency policies; and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Administrative & Tech: Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods to operate computers, web-based routing software, and manage budgets or reports
- Field & Training: Ability to move about and navigate the HUB environment to deliver training and conduct on-site incident or accident investigations
The successful applicant will possess a high school diploma or equivalent with five (5) years of previous office-related experience and working with the public or any equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires completion of various public transit education classes to maintain and/or add new certifications during employment.
