The Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency (UCHRA) is currently seeking qualified HVAC contractors to participate in a new HVAC Repair/Replacement Pilot Program, beginning immediately. This pilot program is currently funded through Sept. 30, 2026, with the goal of expanding into a long-term program.

Contractor Requirements

To participate, contractors must provide the following:

  • Valid Mechanical License
  • Active registration with SAM.gov (required to verify eligibility to perform work reimbursed with federal funds)
  • Current General Liability Insurance

Required Documentation for Payment

To ensure timely processing of payments, contractors must submit the following with each invoice:

  • Itemized invoice showing labor and material costs separately
  • Manual J load calculation
  • AHRI Certificate
  • Proof of manufacturer warranty
  • Copy of all required permits (if applicable)
  • Photographs of the completed installation

How to Participate

Contractors interested in participating must contact UCHRA to have their name added to the contractor list and attend a brief informational meeting. The meeting date will be announced at a later time.
