Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency is currently seeking a Home Repair Technician. The Home Repair Technician provides reliable, affordable home repair services for adults aged 60 and older. The services are provided on a paid basis and designed to keep seniors safe and independent at home. The coverage area will consist of the 14 Upper Cumberland counties.
Duties include:
- Accept calls from potential clients
- Provide quotes for services requested
- Complete requested services
- Complete monthly in-house reports
- Billing for required services
- Provide the finance department with copies of invoices
- Other Duties as assigned by the Executive Director
Qualifications:
- Background in home repair, with a focus on electric, plumbing and basic repair
- Certifications in building or home repair, preferred
- Ability to use power tools
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to lift more than 50 lbs
- Utilize Microsoft applications
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Attention to detail and organization are required
The successful applicant will possess a high school diploma (required) and experience with in-home repair with a focus on electric, plumbing, and basic repair (required).
