The Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency is accepting sealed bids for septic tank removal and replacement at the Van Buren County Head Start facility located at 24038 SR-30 in Spencer, Tenn.

The scope of this project includes:

  • Pump out contents old septic tank units
  • Decommission old septic tank units.
  • Replace 800 ft of leach field
  • Install new septic tank in place of decommissioned tanks
  • Remove old mulch from the playground area affected by septic replacement
  • Spread new mulch
  • All waste material to be removed from job site

Sealed bids are due by 3:30 p.m. Central Time on Sept. 17, 2026. Bid opening will occur at Van Buren Head Start on Sept. 18, 2026, at 3 p.m.
