LIHEAP Specialist

The Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency (UCHRA) is currently accepting applications for a LIHEAP Specialist. The LIHEAP Specialist is responsible for payments, vendor agreements, and creating internal reports pertaining to the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). This position will work closely with the Community Services Manager.

Duties:

  • Create payment sheets and submit to finance weekly
  • Create payments within the SMART SIMPLE Software
  • Verify Client account information weekly
  • Work with LIHEAP vendors to secure and update vendor agreements
  • Create internal LIHEAP reports
  • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detailed oriented
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of data confidentiality and security standards

Experience:

The successful candidate will possess an Associate or Bachelor’s degree (preferred), experience in client management systems (without a degree), and strong computer skills (required).
