Position: UCHRA Public Transportation Training Coordinator
Job Description: The Upper Cumberland Human Resources Agency is accepting applications for a Transportation Training Coordinator. The Transportation Training Coordinator will manage, design, develop, coordinate, and conduct all training programs within UCHRA Public Transportation.
Job Duties:
- Communicate with managers to identify training needs
- Map out development plans for new hires, teams, and individuals
- Obtain, organize, or develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials
- Gather feedback from trainees after each educational session
- Create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the department
- Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
- Research and recommend new training topics
Qualifications:
- Excellent time management skills, public speaking skills, problem-solving skills, along with both verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in word processing and presentation software
- Ability to operate media equipment such as projectors and personal computer
- Knowledge about traditional and modern training methods and techniques
- Exceptional organization skills, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and assess and analyze data
- Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate)
The qualified candidate will possess a high school diploma with at least three (3) years of work experience in a training role, must possess or obtain various required Public Transportation Train the Trainer certificates in the first 12 months of employment. This position requires continued education classes to maintain and/or add new certifications.
