Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency has an opening for a Classroom Teacher Aide at the Chance Girls Home. The Teacher Aide is responsible for assisting the Teacher or Facility Coordinator with anything pertaining to the teaching of the students.
Duties include:
- Work under direct supervision of the school teacher and facility coordinator
- Assist the teacher with students in completing assigned classroom assignments
- Aide the facility in operating school-related errands and in transporting students to the public schools and school-related appointments
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- May be required to sit for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to multitask
- Function and complete job duties within an office environment
The successful applicant will be a high school graduate or equivalent and possess two (2) years of accredited college class work and a valid Tennessee driver’s license.
