The Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency (UCHRA) is currently accepting applications for a CASA Director to lead UCHRA’s CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) program. The mission of the CASA program is to recruit and train volunteers to advocate on behalf of children in foster care to ensure safe and permanent placement.

Duties Include:

  • Supervise CASA Program Coordinators
  • Facilitate CASA training for new and existing advocates
  • Assist in raising funds for the operation of the CASA Program
  • Increase awareness of the CASA Program in the community
  • Complete reports to different agencies as required

Necessary Skills/Capabilities:

  • Ability to communicate with staff effectively
  • Ability to present information to a group
  • Ability to use computer applications for reporting purposes

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in social service-related fields or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
